Is the showerhead easy to fit and maintain ?
Very simple - just unscrew your existing showerhead form the existing hose or wall mount and replace. All hoses will fit to the NordicShower. Wall mounted fixed head fit to a 1/2 inch male thread which is standard.
There is no maintainance of any description required for the Nordic Shower in hard water areas for limescale buid up - guaranteed.
Will it save money & deliver satisfaction ?
As regards satisfaction - if you have tried other water saving showerheads or are looking for a device that will lower your energy and water consumption and yet aim improve the performance of your shower - you will be satisfied. If you are considering the showerhead as an efficiency measure - you will realise significant savings and longevity with the NordicShower - without sacrificing comfort.
If you have already tried a water saving device and were not impressed - a Nordic Shower will suprise you.
What is the difference between this and a normal showerhead or all other ecoshowerheads ?
Water is not delivered in many indivdual streams through many pins holes like a standard showerhead. Unlike all other ecoshowers it does not aerate or restrict which has performance and comfort benefits.
How much money and carbon will it save ?
Using the following assumptions the 6 litre Gallant model will save roughly £ 100 for every person that uses the shower over a year. These are the savings on a average pump system with middle range flow rate of 12 litres per min , using a median on the various water charges, at 5 pence per Kwh, and taking an daily shower at an average shower length of 8 mins. Given its durability - not many simple retrofitted devices will realise such a return on investment over its lifetime.
In the above scenario - a family of four will save upwards of half a ton of carbon per annum, equivalent to the CO 2 intake over 50 yrs for a tree according to carbon footprint estimates.

Suitability of existing system ?
The unique workings of this showerhead do need a minimum pressure that may not be sufficient on a weak gravity fed system. The minimum pressure requirement is 0,5 bar - equivalent to a 5 meter gravity drop . The pressure on an unvented or pumped system will be a multiple of this pressure. If current flow output is gravity fed and very weak - it is most likely not suitable.
Simply, it will work well on all systems - if the pressure if the pressure is above 0,5 bar. On very high pressure - the there is a regulator that will adjust according to the pressure - so back pressure is not a problem.
Is there any other showerhead like this ?
The turbine technology is solely available with Nordic Showers along with performance, savings, comfort and durability.
