Payback in months, lasts a lifetime - The cost of providing household hot water for showering is significant. Comfort -  In showering, comfort matters and especially for efficient showering if it is to be tolerated and the efficiency effort sustained. Water reducing showerheads can sometimes sacrifice comfort by over compensating for the reduced water flow by concertrating the shower stream into thin needle like jets to give the sensation of water force but this  can be a sharp and harsh sensation or aerating the water stream.  A satisfying water stream will provide warming coverage and a pleasing and enlivening impact. Temperature Retention  - Enveloping warmth is one of the key requirements for shower comfort. Nordic Shower does not  introduce room air into the water stream, unlike the most popular ecoshower brands and resulting in a "cold feet effect" (Fishrum '93).  By introducing cooler room air,  up to 30 deg cooler,  water temperature is immediately lowered and thus a higher element of hot water is needed. Large droplet size of the the optimum setting means less surface area for heat loss. Essentially warm water with no air, delivered with impact.

Rinsing Effectiveness- The NordicShower is particularly outstanding here. When tested in the laboratory by the Norwegian Building Insitute, the spray pattern removed with distinction a set area of water based paint against other showerhead models. Effectiveness here is again attributable to the droplet size and the impact pressure.  Aerated water tends to be dry and frustrating for this key showering function. Also quicker rinsing time can give further savings.

Suitability and Durability - unlike the majority of low flows, NordicShower can work at a pressure range down to 0,5 bar ( 1 bar is the normal requirement ) and so is accessible to more household.  Standard fit for all hoses and cradles. Once easily installed it will continue showering and saving for a minimum of 5 yrs, guaranteed.  Designed for the hard waters of Norway, limescale build up is never a problem, regardless of water hardness, again guaranteed.

Maintenance and Cleanliness - Because the design does not have a multiitude of outlet holes or sieve plate with rubber nipples but one single outlet point there is a fraction of the surface area for biofilm to develop. Biofilm results from the build up of limescale or other deposits from water and water borne microbials grow on or within these layers. Instead of this layer forming on a normal expanse of a sieve plate - the smooth metal suface of the underside of turbine screw is the only area of contact. The NordicShower will not eliminate the risk of diseases such as Legionaires, no showerhead device will, but the unique design and mode of delivery is recognised as conducive to hygiene control.

Efficiency and Effectiveness - With the proven effectiveness of twice the standard flow rate , there is no comfort/ performance compensation for consuming less water. At a flow rate option of 6 litres per minute - constant, there is a saving of 50 to 70 % on an average flow and 20 to 40 % on the leading ecoshower brands. As regards effectiveness - laboratory tests by the Norwegian Building Institute found that a flow rate of 9 litres per minute using a Nordic Shower is equivalent in effectiveness and comfort to that of a standard head at 19 litres per minute flowrate - so over twice the flow performance of a conventional showerhead.
